Gaia-Wind are the world’s leading high performance small wind turbine and domestic wind turbine manufacturer, ideally suited to service farms, large residences, small businesses,and public buildings operating in moderate wind speeds.

They are dedicated to helping their customers discover and benefit from the outstanding and economic advantages offered by their small wind turbines. Gaia-Wind is headquartered in Glasgow, where their world leading wind turbines are designed and manufactured. Formerly a Danish company, their design incorporates more than 20 years of Danish wind industry design experience, including many of the control and safety features found only on larger utility-scale turbines used on wind farms.

Operating on the world stage, Gaia-Wind had websites for their UK, Danish, and American customers. Built in WordPress, each as a separate entity, all with cumbersome administrative interfaces, Gaia felt their old websites simply weren’t up to the job. They recognised their websites were invisibly damaging their business and brand, costing them many wasted hours of time to update, and hundreds of thousands of pounds in lost potential business.

Eager to stem the haemorrhage, they turned to Dojo. We immediately got to work, using all our skills to deliver to them an outstanding web presence which reflected their position as global clean tech industry leaders, and brought them revenues to match. Streamlining their back-end, we integrated their 3 international sites into one central administrative back-end area, whilst retaining each site as a separate entity via the front-end user interface. We built the sites on our CMS foundation of choice - the incredibly powerful software Concrete 5.

This Content Management System software grants Gaia full control over all their sites, giving them the revolutionary power to edit in-context from the front-end, by clicking within the targeted pages, moving blocks around, adding media, altering text, adding, moving and editing pages at will. This power is augmented by a central administrative dashboard, which gives them further control over every single aspect of their sites, as well as reports and statistics on site usage. We hooked up their survey forms to Salesforce, allowing them to maximise conversions on every potential client enquiry. Integrating social media networks through the fabric of their sites, we made them highly shareable, fresh and current, as well as boosting the sites’ traffic and SEO rankings. We added search functionality, smooth and full navigation, multiple calls to action, galleries and downloads. On top of this we layered an intuitive user interface, with clean, professional, compelling design, bringing together all the advancements in web design and programming available today into one, neat, easy-to-use package.

Gaia-Wind couldn’t have been happier. They find their new system a joy to use, and have seen a sharp rise in revenues.
