Dojo require a PHP developer to be responsible for the layout, coding and maintenance of websites, content and applications. The candidate should have at least 2 years experience in the following:

• PHP & My SQL (Linux)
• XHTML (super-clean coding, W3C)
• CSS
• Javascript & jQuery
• Dreamweaver
• Photoshop/Illustrator
• An interest/knowledge of SEO

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Develop the programming code from scratch or by adapting existing website graphics packages and software to meet business requirements
• Testing the website and identifying any technical problems and hitches
• Determining any functionality that the site must support and developing content based on practical approved layout
• Identifying the content type the site will host and ensuring compatibility with the programming requirements
• Giving guidance and support to clients

SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

• Skills in graphics manipulation and web programming
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology
• Must be able to stay on top of advancing internet and computer technology and its effects to the business environment
• Must be thorough and precise in their work
• Ability to work individually or in a team to beat tight deadlines
• Ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of international web standards and protocols

DESIRED

• A creative eye
• Building applications for modern devices (such as iPad, etc)
• Knowledge of CMS (such as Concrete5)
• A sense of humour!
