Dojo create 3D Landscape for ITV's Detective Drama "Taggart"

Dojo have just created a 3D rendered landscape for TV show Taggart.

ITV has commissioned its biggest ever run of Scottish detective drama Taggart, with 10 new episodes set to air from the end of this year.

The landscape, depicting a snow resort, will be printed large-format and used as a scenery prop in one of the forthcoming episodes.

The mongol rally gets underway!

Branding - Pandamonium at the start of the Mongol Rally, London

Pandamonium, the team Dojo are sponsoring in the Mongol Rally, have started their long trek from London to Ulan Baatar in Mongolia (over 10,000 miles) taking whichever route they choose!

The rally is supposed to be an adventure and not a guided tour. It's about getting out and discovering the world, so much so that the organisers resolutely refuse to define a route.

We wish them, and the Panda, the best of luck!

Dojo create motion graphics for new film "New Town Killers"

Interactive/Video - New Town Killers

Dojo were commissioned to produce an interactive video sequence for use in the film "New Town Killers", directed by Richard Jobson of Independent Films, starring Dougray Scott (Hitman) and Alastair Mackenzie (Monarch of the Glen).

The film is about two private bankers, Alistair and Jamie, who have the world at their feet and get their kicks from playing a 12 hour game of hunt, hide and seek with people from the margins of society...

The sequence is controlled backstage, and enables the actor to act out the hacking into of a futuristic database...

Dojo Brand and sponsor mongol rally 2008 team "Pandamonium"

Dojo Design Studio are very proud sponsors of 'Pandamonium', a team within the Mongol Rally 2008. Dojo created the logo to be used on all marketing materials, as well as the vehicle graphics.

The Pandamonium team consists of two brothers from New Zealand (Aaron and Nick Saunders). These two brothers, who have it in their head that no challenge is too small, are taking part in the 2008 Mongol Rally, not only to raise money and the profiles of their charities, but to push themselves, and almost certainly at some stage the car, to the limits of adventure travel.

Dojo help Cushman & Wakefield win pitch

Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed as joint agent with Jones Lang LaSalle on the new £100m Exchange Place in Edinburgh, the largest speculative office development in the capital currently under construction.

The commercial development by Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) will extend to 18,580 sq m (200,000 sq ft) and is one of the final components of the Exchange District and interest from tenants is expected to be high.

Angela Lowe, Associate at Cushman & Wakefield said: “The decision by SWIP to develop three large office buildings at the same time will result in a new, prime office address being created in the city. The supply of offices is reducing and vacancy rates have fallen significantly this year. This, along with the fact that no city centre developments will be completed in 2008, will put an upward pressure on rents. Therefore the decision to build Exchange Place is extremely well-timed.”

Chris Cuthbert, Partner – Head of Office Agency & Development, said: “We are delighted to be involved in the Exchange Place scheme, alongside Cameron Stott at Jones Lang LaSalle. Our two firms are highly complementary to each other and we very much look forward to marketing jointly this hugely prestigious development on behalf of Scottish Widows.

Client Quote"Dojo Design Studio were commissioned to put together a 'Flash' introduction sequence for a significant pitch we were undertaking. The brief was well understood by Dojo and, with the tight timescales we set, they put together an ideal animation, all within budget. I look forward to using their services again."
